Robert Ayala

RA

Robert Ayala attended UTSA and received an undergraduate degree in Biology in 2002, a graduate degree from Angelo State University in 2008 in biology and am currently pursuing a doctoral degree from UTSA in Higher Education Policy Study.  Sprinkled throughout my education endeavors include research with baboons on periodontal disease, range ecology research on water transportation rates of salt cedar trees along the Pecos river, as well as soil moisture measurements along different terrains, treated grounds. 

His current educational interest are the equity of minorities in STEM education, student success at two year institutions, successful transfer and completion of four year STEM degrees. 

Green energy research interest include solar power efficiency, practicability, and potential applications on both residential and commercial use. Biodiesel applications and efficiency are also interest I have and look forward to implementing.

Catarino Morales III

Catarino Morales is a hometown resident of Uvalde Texas, where he was born and raised.  Catarino attended The University of Texas at San Antonio and received a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in General Business.  Catarino pursued a Masters of Science in Biology from Texas A & M University at Commerce. Catarino began teaching as an adjunct instructor with SWTJC in 2010 and as a full-time instructor in 2013.

Muraya Gonzalez

Muraya Gonzalez is teaching Biology at Southwest Texas Junior College, originally from the hill country area. Actively involved in the Re-energize Program. Will be conducting Solar Energy Research/Rain Water collection research Fall 2015.
