Computer Robotics Project:

Sample Exercise to be used in a COMPUTER ROBOTICS course

Objectives of Activity:    

Applying programming to techniques to authentic problems, students will assist in the development of an automated program to monitor the solar panels and automate adjustments.

Description of Course Activity:

Students will use automation technology, sensors, robots and drones to develop a system to monitor the solar panels for cleanliness, position, temperature. The program and system will adjust position, clean panels and assist with other system requirements.

Student Deliverables:

Students will assist with the development and deployment of the system. Students will develop the required code, and provide schematics and system documentation.

Objectives of Activity:

Students will enhance their understanding of renewable resources and the production, and use, of bio-fuels.

Description of Course Activity:

Students will required to design a simple system to produce biofuels

Student Deliverables:

Students will present a PowerPoint presentation and develop a design assisted by a set of guideline questions.
