Objectives of Activity:     

Students will understand how renewable technology impacts electricity usage and home efficiency.

Description of Course Activity:

Students will conduct research on different renewable technologies and calculate how the integration of a renewable technology resource, such as wind turbine or solar panel, will cut electricity costs in their own house.

Students will learn the role of environmental factors on human health. The students will also learn in the role of microbiology in environmental sustainability.

Description of Course Activity:

Students will write a 3-5 page scholarly researched paper concerning the role of climate change and environmental conditions that have or will effect human health.
